Dana Hooper

A self-taught artist, Dana Hooper is known for her adventurous paint handling.  Her landscapes and animal motifs are often inspired by the Society of Six and Bay Area Figurative artists.

Hooper’s works are included in the Crocker Art Museum, Sacramento; the di Rosa Preserve, Napa; the Bolinas Museum, Bolinas; Marin General Hospital, Greenbrae; VA Defenders Lodge, Palo Alto; Morgan Flagg Family Collection, Atherton; private collections around the world.

Education: BS Biology, San Francisco State University; MS Physiology, UC Davis, Davis, CA
