Many of them apply various techniques and materials to achieve extraordinary art. Melissa Johnson’s work is usually done on canvas or panel with applications of cold wax and oil paint to achieve a matte textured finish. Robert Charon’s paintings are mostly linear abstract acrylic paintings with a thick transparent final coat. Nancy and Sandy Pendleton combine talents to produce significant art composed of acrylic paint over paper texturing and finished with glass objects as the focal point.
