DESCRIPTION:Opening Thursday\, June 5th 5-7PM. \nWhether through the mind or literally\, this new Wilde Meyer show transports viewers to places they never knew they wanted to be. \nRobert Burt’s stylized driverless cars and uninhabited landscapes evoke feelings nostalgia while challenging the audience to imagine what is on the other side of the hill or around the bend. \nAna Marini’s Journey to the Red Star series depicts women on faithful steeds transporting them to an imaginary world of excitement. \nBarbara Gurwitz’s Birds eye views of inspirational little villages beckon the viewer to places of tranquility and idealism. \nFran Larsen’s minutely detailed landscapes show winding roads over under and through seemingly endless mountains and valleys. \nAlso featuring Roger Alderman\, Michael Baum and several other artists.
