Colorful\, exuberant\, emotional could be descriptions for the art by some of Wilde Meyer’s most talented Arizona artists. \nBarbara Gurwitz’s bold view of western landscapes transport the viewer to scenes as interpreted through the artist’s eye. Unconventional and informative\, the paintings often show a bird’s eye view of quaint inhabited valleys overseen by inspiring rugged mountains. \nAcacia Alder brings new meaning to Arizona desert plants. Whether painting saguaros\, ocotillos or Palo Verde trees\, Alder gives inspired and unconventional interpretations of common desert flora. \nMonika Rossa’s paintings take you to imaginary places\, filled with regal or romantic young women often shown with iconic dream symbols. Other Arizona artists included are Timothy Chapman\, Judith Choate\, Ka Fisher and many others.
