Rachel Slick
A true child of the American melting pot, Rachel Slick’s ancestors and art influences can be traced to both the old and new worlds. A multimedia artist, her work covers everything from large scale public art in the permanent collections of many cities across the country to studio/gallery arts. Her Contemporary Milagros and Cactus Flower Retablos featured at Wilde Meyer Gallery are an homage to the blessings in her life and to her Abuelita Valentina, one of the first people who encouraged her to create art.
