Rudie van Brussel

Rudie van Brussel says:  “My inspiration comes from the color of Latin American art which helps transport my spirit and creativity to my native land.  I’m also inspired by the strength, passion and daring texture of Van Gogh.  This combination of influences can be traced to my Latin and Dutch ancestry.  When I paint, I often listen to Brazilian, Caribbean or Latin music.  The vivid imagery found in the lyrics reflects a celebration of life which I hope can be found in my work.”

Rudie’s work is represented in Arizona by Wilde Meyer Galleries.  Click on any piece to enlarge it.
