This show at Wilde Meyer Annex will be featuring art that ranges from pure abstract to abstracted figurative and landscapes. Artists who paint pure abstract, with no hint of recognizable subject matter will include Ryan Hale, Ana Marini, and Nancy Pendleton.
Albert Scharf and Robert Charon condense landscapes to the essence of recognition. Sherri Belassen and Karen Bezuidenhout portray animal and human figures as very simplified, yet recognizable beings.
Also showing Dana Hooper, Tierney Miller and others. Several of these artists skip back and forth from pure abstraction to landscapes or figures.
