In his youth, Greg Moxness was interested in all things electrical, mechanical, and computer related. This led to a career in aerospace engineering. Currently he spends his days thinking about how the Universe works (aka. theoretical physics) and by night creating images of other galaxies and the nebulae within our own “Milky Way” galaxy. He does this with his custom-built computer-controlled backyard observatory or using data made available from the Hubble and James Webb space telescopes. His astrophotography work has also been shown in the UofA’s Lunar and Planetary Lab (LPL) “The Art of Planetary Science” show. He also enjoys creative and nature photography.
