Jeremy Serna

Jeremy Serna is a Texas-based contemporary Western artist whose paintings explore figure, movement, atmosphere, and the landscape of the American West.

Working primarily in acrylic, Serna combines expressive brushwork, strong value structure, and layered color with a balance of representation and abstraction. Riders, horses, Native American figures, and solitary figures emerge through passages of dust, light, and open space. Rather than describing every detail, he allows edges to disappear and forms to dissolve, using color and gesture to carry the story.

Born and raised in South Texas and now based in Brownwood, Serna creates paintings centered on emotion and human presence. His work has been exhibited and collected throughout the United States.
