WILDE MEYER GALLERY’s show “The Wilde Wild Best” will feature numerous artist’s depictions of western related themes. Subjects represented include Native American studies of the Lakota people by Jim Nelson and shoot ‘em up gunfighters and lawmen by Thom Ross. James Swanson’s paintings represent a more classical view of the west through his beautiful renditions of wild horse herds at the waterhole and cattle grazing. Michael Swearngin’s awesome contemporary renditions of stylized cowboys, horses, ravens and bulls will also be hanging, along with many other artists. Other subjects include wildlife and landscapes. Show will hang April 2nd to May 30th.
