Opening reception will begin at 7:00 PM, Thursday, June 2. You need NOT be in the gallery to choose your favorite pieces. You may call, email, or put your name on a piece in person beginning June 2nd. If there is more than one buyer for a piece, the winning buyer will be drawn Friday June 3 via lottery. There is a limit of one bid per piece, per household. If you email your entries, we will send you a follow-up email letting you know they were received (no need to call and ask if we received them). Please be sure to include the item number, title and artist’s name for each piece for which you are placing an entry.
Buyers will be notified of their successful purchases ASAP. It may take a few days to determine all results and get back with clients – please be patient, we will notify you once all results are compiled. We have many bids on most items and it may take a few days to tally the results and get back with everyone.
Please keep in mind that if you put your name on several pieces, you could possibly win them all. So, please do not put your name on more than you are prepared to purchase. This is a charity event, and we will need payment as soon as you are notified that you have won the piece or pieces.

Wilde Meyer has always been animal friendly, and represented lots of great artists who incorporated animals into their work. So we have decided to make our Wilde Meyer Annex, on Main Street, Scottsdale, into a gallery that specializes in animal art. We will frequently hold shows with part of the proceeds going to animal charities. Animal subjects will include domestic animals and wildlife. As with our other galleries, the styles presented will be eclectic, and the media varied. Many of the artists welcome custom portraits of pets or other favorite animals. Wilde Meyer Gallery, on Marshall Way, Scottsdale, and our Tucson Gallery will continue showing their same great diverse subjects like abstracts, landscapes, and figurative works.

This show explores the use of traditional subjects handled in a very contemporary way. Artists include subjects of landscapes, flora, fauna, and abstracts. Contemporary western art does not have to stay in Arizona or the rest of the west, it feels right at home in New York, San Francisco, or Chicago. Artists in the show include Jim Nelson, AM Stockhill, Lance green, Jill Gilbert, Maura Allen, and others.

Jaime Ellsworth, Ryan Hale, and Sarah Webber all bring different concepts in painting to this show. Webber’s paintings are rooted in a traditional painting style, while Ellsworth places her fanciful subjects in imaginary places. Ryan Hale’s work is mostly conceptual, inviting the viewer to reach conclusions on their own when viewing his work.
