Originally from the east, Albert Scharf’s landscapes capture the monumental skies of the Southwest.  “Painting sets me free to express myself and explore the world that surrounds me.  Living in Santa Fe, New Mexico the visual vista landscape is ingrained in my existence.  The freedom of open space, sky and color, I love it!”  Scharf’s paintings are created both on-site, en plein air and in-studio.
