Abstract Conversations – Color Line and Gesture

SummerDebora Stewart40" x 54"acrylic on canvas$4850 by

“Walking in nature. Drawing in gardens. Experiencing the environment. Expressing these moments in time through mark making and color. This is what inspires me. In essence, my art is an expression of what I have found beautiful in life. One stroke of color and line inspires the next.

~ Debora Stewart

When ka Fisher began her undergrad art training, American Expressionism was the national du jour guide for painting students. Basic design and composition saved what was left to salvage. Those same basic elements today set up a painting for re-interpreting the figurative and abstract elements which can coexist.

~ Ka Fisher

Please join us to meet Debora Stewart and Ka Fisher as they present and discuss their latest works at a special opening reception.

Meet Nancy Pendleton as she presents her new series of paintings.

Four Tall by Nancy Pendleton 48" x 48"

Nancy Pendleton took a semester off of college in Michigan to escape the cold, spent the winter in sunny Phoenix, and never went back! Over her many years of living in the Phoenix area, Nancy developed a deep love and appreciation for this city in the desert.

Her recent series, ‘Our Urban Desert’ expresses the contrast of a thriving city and the vast Sonoran desert, and how they co-exist in harmony and make ‘The Valley’ a totally unique place to be. The artist mixes her trademark graphic style with vibrant colors and rich textures to tell her story. “I can’t imagine living anywhere else”, the Artist says.
